1. Who We Are

DigiAdis is a product of Saktiware, based in the Netherlands. We provide cloud-controlled digital signage software — including a web dashboard, mobile app (Android/iOS), Android TV player app, and Raspberry Pi firmware — that lets businesses manage screens remotely.

2. Data We Collect

Account data

  • Name, email address, and hashed password (or Google OAuth profile)
  • Organization name
  • Billing information (processed by Stripe — we never store card numbers)

Device data

  • Device identifier (UUID generated on-device)
  • Hardware info (model, OS version, screen resolution)
  • Network information (IP address — used for approximate geolocation of devices)
  • Device status (online/offline, uptime, CPU/memory usage)

Content data

  • Images and videos you upload for display on your screens
  • Playlists, schedules, and text messages you create

Usage data

  • Motion detection events (timestamp and device ID only — no images or video captured)
  • App interaction logs (pages visited, features used)
  • Authentication events (login attempts, password changes)

3. How We Use Your Data

  • Service operation: authenticating you, syncing content to your devices, processing commands, and delivering notifications
  • Analytics: motion-event counts and device health metrics to help you understand screen engagement
  • Billing: processing payments and managing subscriptions via Stripe
  • Security: rate limiting, fraud detection, and audit logging
  • Support: diagnosing issues when you contact us

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties for their own marketing.

4. Third-Party Services

  • Google OAuth — if you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google. We do not access your Google Drive, contacts, or other data.
  • Stripe— handles payment processing. Stripe’s privacy policy applies to payment data.
  • Nominatim (OpenStreetMap) — used for address search on the marketplace map. No personal data is sent.

5. Data Storage & Security

  • Data is hosted on servers in Frankfurt, Germany (EU)
  • All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3)
  • Passwords are hashed with Argon2id — we never store plaintext passwords
  • Device secrets are stored with restricted file permissions (mode 0600)
  • Media files are stored in S3-compatible object storage with presigned, time-limited URLs

6. Data Retention

  • Account data: retained while your account is active. Deleted 30 days after account deletion request.
  • Motion events: raw events retained for 90 days; aggregated statistics kept indefinitely.
  • Audit logs: authentication and admin action logs retained for 1 year.
  • Media files: deleted when you remove them, or 30 days after account deletion.
  • Unverified accounts: automatically deleted after 7 days.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

As we are based in the EU and store data in the EU, GDPR applies. You have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of all data we hold about you and your organization
  • Export — download your data in a portable format (available in app settings)
  • Rectification — update or correct your personal data via your profile page
  • Deletion — request deletion of your account and all associated data (available in app settings, completed within 30 days)
  • Restriction — request that we stop processing your data while a complaint is resolved
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies only — for authentication sessions and CSRF protection. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.

9. Children’s Privacy

DigiAdis is a business tool and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
